The Aero L-39 Albatros, developed by Aero Vodochody of Czechoslovakia, is a highly-capable jet trainer. It is now the world's most widely-used jet trainer, not only for basic and complex pilot training, but also for light-attack missions. Making its first flight in November 1968, it was the first trainer plane to be equipped with a turbofan engine.
The Black Horse L-39 Albatros is a 1720mm wingspan ARF ready to install your turbine power system with up to 8kg of thrust (not included). Built durably with balsa and plywood construction, the L-39 comes pre-covered in heat-shrink film with pre-printed graphics simulating panel lines, rivets and livery detail.

Black Horse ARF models are constructed out of balsa wood and plywood. These are not foam models. The assembly of balsa wood ARF aircraft requires basic model building skills including the installation of servos, ESC, and motor (or gas engine).
