The Dassault Alpha Jet is a jet aircraft designed for advanced training and light attack duties. The project featured German-French cooperation and initially entered service in the 1970s. Single-seat and two-seat flight trainer versions were both produced. The Alpha Jet was used by France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal, Egypt, and more, and remains in use today in France.
The COBI model is manufactured under license from Dassault Aviation and complements the collection of Armed Forces 1:48 scale aircraft. The set also includes simplified pilot bodies that can be placed in the cockpit, while the landing gear can be easily detached in order to display it on the included stand if desired.
